LITTLE BRIDGE TWO JUST PUBLISHED!! PERFECT RESOURCE FOR CHILDREN WHERE ENGLISH IS NOT THEIR FIRST LANGUAGE! ALL LICENCES INCLUDE SOFTWARE, AUDIO CD, RESOURCES CD AND A TEACHER'S GUIDE.

Arriving in the UK Primary classroom, these non-English speaking children are usually eager to integrate with their peers. Nonetheless, they are often unable to demonstrate their true potential and, by necessity, make huge demands on the class teacher and are sometimes regarded as an impediment to the cohesion and progress of the whole class. • Little bridge addresses these issues. It offers a focus for collaborative activities, using a medium that is common to most children: the computer game, supported by attractive pupil Activity Books. At the same time, it is perfect for individual study, providing a clear focus and set of objectives, all of which can be monitored by the teacher, often part of an EAL team, using the integrated Learning Management System. • Little Bridge offers children a flexible and fun to use program that introduces language naturally and sympathetically. It provides a reassuring framework with a huge variety of activity types, enabling children to vary the pace of learning – and, with rapid feedback, to evaluate and stimulate progress. • The interface to the software is attractive and intuitive, with appropriate levels of support (oral and written), clear icons and ease of navigation, to foster independent learning and encourage experimentation. It is sensitively designed to be non-patronising and widely accessible, taking into account the likely diversity of the users. • Little Bridge is inclusive, with a range of characters representing different age groups and races without bias or stereotyping. Storytelling, songs and poems are an important feature of the program. • Little Bridge is designed with clear learning objectives to raise the child’s skills in English language (listening, speaking, reading and writing), to ensure speedy and confident engagement at the appropriate level of the Primary Curriculum.
